For the past few weeks, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has been in the spotlight, shouting to the high heavens that the PlayStation brand (PS5) is at existential risk if regulators allow rival Microsoft and their Xbox brand to complete their acquisition of publisher Activision (and specifically the Call of Duty franchise). But now the tables have turned as Microsoft has brought in a bigger figure than even gaming head Phil Spencer in CEO Satya Nadella. But what the head of one of the biggest tech companies on earth has to say about the deal may just be the most disingenuous thing yet.
